AS I LAY DYING Frontman Launches HIGH IMPACT RECORDINGS

August 18, 2006

AS I LAY DYING frontman and avid metalhead Tim Lambesis recently partnered up with Metal Blade Records to start his own imprint label, High Impact Recordings. Hs inaugural signing is the progressive/metal band A LOVE ENDS SUICIDE out of West Covina, California.

A LOVE ENDS SUICIDE (ALES) consists of five members, four of which happen to be brothers. John Cairoli (vocals) has developed an intense/energy-filled stage performance, standing out among many other acts in the scene. Emir Abdo (bass, clean vocals) with intense stage presence on bass guitar also compliments the intensity of the music with melodic vocal lines. Oscar Cairoli (guitar) helps create a sound like no other with his riveting guitar lines and musical influences combined. Andres Abdo (drums),the youngest of the pack, brings forth a great deal of strength, power, technique, and originality to the music. Matt Garcia (guitar) adds a big sound to the group with neck-breaking riffs and heart-pounding energy.

A LOVE ENDS SUICIDE will release its full-length debut, "In the Disaster", on September 5.

Commented Tim: "After being on tour for the past five years, I decided I should start a record label as I've met so many amazing musicians and I know this is the right way to give exposure to those bands I believe in. I've been given an amazing opportunity to work with Metal Blade on the release of some upcoming records and I'll now be teaming up with the same people that have put their hearts behind AS I LAY DYING and I'm very honored to be doing so. A LOVE ENDS SUICIDE is a band that I've wanted to work with for a while and will now be the first band released through Metal Blade/High Impact. Please check out two tracks from their upcoming record as well as the brand new High Impact website. Mark your calendars for September 5th!"

A LOVE ENDS SUICIDE commented: "It's surreal for all of us to be a part of such a label that has innovated and established many of the biggest national acts that we have been greatly influenced by. It has been such a great experience working side by side with Tim Lambesis and the rest of the Metal Blade staff. The release of our new album titled 'In the Disaster' on Metal Blade Records is by far the greatest accomplishment for the group, and will definitely allow us to really bring our music to life on the road."
